Big Events Safety

Big Events UK is now able to offer a repairs and testing nationwide through Big Events Safety, we can cater to suit all your inflatable needs. We aim to repair and test your inflatables with a fast turn around and keeping to our high standards. We understand that even one inflatable out of action can really affect your business and have knock on consequences that's why we will always give you good honest advice through the whole process. We can also offer advice on small repairs in the early stages before they can lead to big ones that may end up costing you more in the long run and extend the life of your inflatable.

We perform many repairs and tests each year but as you can understand no inflatable is identical there are always going to be differences and that is why we cant really provide a price until we see the item but usually after a quick chat with our repair team and a few photos we can usually give you a ball park idea.

Big Event Safety is one of the north west's leading repair and testing company with over 25 years experience, we carry £2Million PLI and £500,000 PII and there are many positive plans for the future. Our in house tester is fully accredited by the RPII and is registered with PIPA which has the full support of the health & safety executive (H.S.E) which is why we strongly recommend all operators to follow the scheme.

All tests are carried out in accordance with BSEN14960:2019 and is designed to cover inflatables sold and hired for commercial use only. Our inspectors will visit your premises or you can come to our warehouse or alternatively you could hire a local hall. Possibly join up with local companies to reduce the cost? In order for the inspections to be carried out quickly and efficiently you will need to do the following:

  • Erect and dismantle equipment to be tested
  • Have all manufactures or previous test paperwork to hand for each unit.
  • Proof of any repairs or modifications
  • Correct number of ground stakes
  • Correct inflation devices
